- NNishant1 review4.0Dined 1 day agoBuratta and the “Spinach and Strawberry” salad were great starters. Truffle Rissoto was tops. Waitress recommend a fantastic white wine “Flowers”. Didn’t have dessert. asked for a bilingual (English & Spanish) waiter which didn’t happen but the bus “boys” themselves are bilingual and were very accommodating.More infoCucina VentiPrice: Expensive• Italian• Mountain View•4.6

With a great menu, helpful staff, and beautiful but intimate dining room, The Village Pub is a high-end dining experience without the bougie baggage of haute establishments. The cocktails are fun and balanced and the menu has some real knockouts: The plating and flavor on the Sunchoke Veloutê was very appealing. The Seared Hokkaido Scallops might have been the best scallop dish I’ve ever had. My wife loved the Crab Risotto. What made the experience special is connecting with staff, talking about dishes and recommendations, and having the kitchen send out some samples of things to try. Thanks Village Pub for a great night out!More infoThe Village PubPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Woodside•4.8
- MMickeySan Francisco Bay Area •20 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoFirst time here. Our dining experience was delightful and included Smoked Prime Rib, Creamed Spinach, Mashed Potatoes, Side salads (Caesar and House) and Creamed Horsradish. Cocktails were very well done and the service was very, very good. We celebrated a birthday and were served a small cheesecake for the occasion - delicious. We typically will drive up to SF for prime rib dinners at House of Prime Rib. Their food and service are wonderful. The difference, and standout at Birk's is being able to order "smoked" prime rib. We are fans and plan to return to Birk's in the future.More infoBirk'sPrice: Expensive• American• Santa Clara•4.8
