Drawing upon the rich history of Milwaukee’s craftsmanship we present, Craft. The history of Milwaukee dates to the early 17th and 18th centuries when traders first began to travel through and eventually settle in what is now Milwaukee. Deep European roots brought craftsmen and skilled hands to the area and to this day an ethic of hard work and determination inhabits the spirit of the city. Early on the area was full of coopers, butchers, shoemakers, and farmers. Milwaukee’s beer history started in the 1840’s, driven by the presence of the frontier settlement near the Great Lakes. Immigrants, including Welsh and German settlers, yearned for the native beers of their homelands, so they embarked on making delicious craft beer with techniques from their native countries. Craft features a cuisine including locally sourced foods, hand crafted cocktails, and a vast selection of local beer.

A wonderful dining experience with ambiance and fantastic, friendly, skilled staff. Scallop meal and the New York steak meals were chosen. Scallop meal was fantastic and generous servings, my New York Strip was prepared perfectly and one of the most tender NY Strips ever. The only reason I did not rate the meal a ten, was that the steak frites were way over the top too greasy leaving a trail of oil on my plate. Seasoning was fantastic, just too oily for me. Not be an expert of steak frites, maybe I was to have expected that presentation. Overall, we will be back.

Birch is an absolute gem! From the moment we walked in, the service was outstanding. The food? Simply some of the best we’ve ever had! Every dish was a masterpiece with flavors that blew us away. You can tell how much thought and care goes into every ingredient. Their in-house pastry chef is a true artist. Make sure to save room for dessert; you won’t regret it! The drinks were fantastic as well—expertly crafted and the perfect complement to our meal. Highly recommend!

We discovered that we’ve been coming here for 10 yrs, that tells y’all something there! Zarletti’s is a small but exquisitely decorated downtown Italian restaurant. The meals, appetizers, wines etc are almost all from Italy. The service is great, the wait staff know their foods, drinks and wines. We found them this time, as usual, to be friendly, available but non-intrusive & very nice. Our meals were wonderfully prepared and awesomely delicious!! The red wine we opted for was perfect for our meals. Oh, their take on an old-fashioned was fun and delicious. We’re allowed to relax, take our time to enjoy drinks and food, never any sense of hurry. We love coming here and would strongly recommend Zarletti’s.

This was our 2nd time here at the Bistro and as before, everything was superb! Service was 1st class, quick, excellent explanations and recommendations if we asked. I have a particular food allergy and the staff bent over backwards to help avoid that and insure my meal was exquisite and safe. The drinks were excellent, the food awesome and we swore we would make it for a 3rd time. I suppose a warning is due, the restaurant is top-drawer, meaning it’s not cheap - either in price or in the quality of the food and the service. There’s an old expression that you get what you pay for, I think the Bistro exceeds that !!! We strongly recommend also getting there early and enjoying the bar!!

Our first visit was Xmas eve and it was still very busy, but service was great, now wait for our table and our server was was very attentive. Food was amazing from apps/small plates to main courses. Signature drinks were excellent and creative, even the mocktails were some of the best I have had. Lighting, ambience, and timing of our apps/meal were perfectly timed. We look forward to our next night out at this amazing restaurant.
