Best Gluten Free Restaurants in Bellerose

When we want seafood Limani is our go-to restaurant on the north shore. One of the few places you can get stone crabs by the piece (you pick it, they charge by weight) and a wide selection of fish. Excellent sides available and they are very good about exchanging one side for another if the main course is listed with a side (for example, I switched to lemon potatoes instead of Horta with my fish). The prix fixe dinner available at various times (all night Sunday and Monday) is a good deal but desserts are very limited. Service is usually excellent but this last time staff had to be reminded more than once to bring melted butter for the crab and to bring out the side order of Greek fries after everything else was served. Limani is expensive by LI standards but the quality of the food keeps us coming back.

Excellent food and services celebrating my birthday

This was the first time we’d been to Alessandro’s since it was redone. Not for lack of interest; just a tough reservation to get! But it sure was worth the effort. The pace looks great, the service was as good as always and the food was better than I remembered. Best artichoke salad and chicken scarparella! Already can’t wait to go back. Bonus, Alessandro is the lost wonderful host. Always makes it a point to come say hi.

Novitá is consistently GREAT. The food and service don’t disappoint. A solid choice for date night, girls’ night, or family dinner.

It is our family's annual tradition to go to tavern 18 for Christmas Eve dinner!! We always get our favorite table and the service, food and staff are wonderful. We are grateful for this family tradition.
