Mushroom risotto shared as appetizer. Friends shared skinny deep dish pizza for first time and said they’d order again. Lasagna was very good. Husband has usual Russo Chicago thin crust pizza that he loves! Friend had chicken lemon which she enjoyed. Drinks were fantastic.

Ambience was appealing, attractive and intimate setting, service was acceptable. Appetizers were outstanding as were the drinks. As for the main course my partner relished in her lamb chops, my NY strip was not tender, rather a bit tough. Will pass on this item next time. Overall, awesome place for a dinner and a good conversation.

First time there and already talking about going back. Great menu and we all shared our meals as they were wonderful which caused an initial hard time on deciding what to order - hence sharing our meals.

It's rare to find a place that excels in every area, but the Colonial Room at the Drake in Oakbrook truly does.
