Best Gluten Free Restaurants in Elmwood Park

Always enjoy the meals at Edelweiss! Tried the German meatloaf for the first time today and enjoyed it greatly. Though the Oktoberfest Bienenstich is my favorite dessert, the regularly offered desserts never disappoint, like today’s Apfelstrudel.

Weweremeetingold friends halfway. I found this restaurant on open table. Menu looked great. I asked fora quieter table in the back. It was perfect. The food was delicious, portions enough to bring some home for lunch. My margarita was perfectly made. If we lived closer, this would be my neighborhood go to!

We had a wonderful dinner. The food was perfect. The service was exceptionally fast and gracious and the ambiance was warm and comfortable. We had the lobster and shrimp that was perfectly prepared. Dessert was fantastic . You can’t beat the upside down apple pie with cinnamon ice cream. All and all we highly recommend this restaurant for everyday dining and special occasions.

It was my first time and I had such a great experience! The food was fantastic and the wine added such a nice touch to the evening. I loved all the variety of wines available as it allowed me to explore and try something I couldn’t elsewhere. The food menu is also quite varied and has something for everyone! The service was great and quick, even though it was fairly busy. Will definitely be returning!

Lovely Christmas Eve dinner!! Wedge salad and short ribs superb. Staff went out of their way to A.) accommodate our infirmed elderly guests B.) correct a dish that we had misordered. Thank you Carmines!!
