Ometeo is bringing an elevated version of classic, comforting, & nostalgic Tex Mex cuisine to Capital One Center in Tysons, VA. Brought to you by Long Shot Hospitality, the group behind DC's hit restaurants The Salt Line and Dauphine's. Inspired by the ingredients, techniques, and heritage from West Texas down to the Gulf Coast, Ometeo's foundation is firmly rooted in Tex Mex tradition all served up in a fun and dynamic environment. The restaurant consists of multiple carefully curated dining spaces and three different bars- Main Bar, Outdoor Bar, and Cadillac Lounge Bar. Reservations are available for four distinct areas : Main Dining, Outdoor Dining, Main Bar Booths, and Cadillac Lounge. We accept Open Table reservations for groups of up to 8 people. Our wine list is meticulously curated on a seasonal basis by son Philip Hobson selecting from Greece's top vineyards who produce indigenous varietals such as Assyrtiko & Xinomavro, and western grapes such as Cabernet Sauvignon & Sauvignon Blanc. Our beer selection focuses on bottled Greek brews while our bar is fully stocked to serve both classic cocktails and signature drinks inspired by the best bars in Athens. Claudio Pirollo grew up in Belgium where he soon discovered his passion for cooking as he wandered around his father’s fine Italian épicerie (grocery store) and watched his mother prepare dinner every day. The dual influence of Italy and Belgium triggered Chef Pirollo’s aspirations to develop his knowledge and experience with different flavors.A Trattoria is not a pizzeria, it is an Italian-style eating establishment that is generally much less formal than a ristorante but more formal than an osteria. It is similar to what the French call Bistrot.Trattorias are traditionally family owned, casual, rustic neighborhood restaurants found throughout all of Italy that offer fresh, regional, local and family specialties on the menu.
