- GGayleChicago / Illinois •4 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoTwo people for lunch — Steak frites perfectly cooked (medium rare), fragrant and slightly spicy chimichurri sauce underneath and really tasty, well seasoned and crispy fries along with some simply dressed greens. A lovely plate! Knowledgeable server (Emily) patiently brought three tastes of red wine (I’m a novice with reds) till I chose. Dark, rich well brewed coffee and a very dense chocolate torte (with an apricot-lemon jam and whipped cream on the side. Very interesting menu and inventive desserts. Highly recommend. Easy parking nearby in the Crown Street garage or on the street. On the south side of The Green.More infoZINC New HavenPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• New Haven•4.7

- SStephanieVIPNew York City •26 reviews5.0Dined on Feb 17, 2025The experience at Gioia is always a great one, especially since they have their own parking lot in the very busy Wooster Square area. My friends and I ordered the Salumi and Cheese platter, beets, cauliflower, and meatball appetizers. We decided to split two desserts: the sticky toffee pudding and the almond torta. The best bites of the night were the anchovy yogurt sauce with the cauliflower and the sticky toffee pudding (it’s SO good). The mocktails are also special, DELICIOUS, and a very good surprise feature on a large drink menu.More infoGioia - Wooster Street New HavenPrice: Expensive• Italian• New Haven•4.7
