The Fox & Pheasant is a little “country” pub tucked away in a small corner of Chelsea. The pub was founded in 1846 and it began its life as the Bedford Arms. Ten years later it changed to the Prince of Wales and in 1965 became The Fox & Pheasant and we have no intention of changing its name again!Not only are we a snug pub in the winter with 3 fire places, a dartboard and dog biscuits for the well behaved companions (dogs)! We are lucky enough to be able to wind back our roof in the conservatory for those long summer lunches to. Bistro Union never disappoints, but today’s lunch was my best experience yet! Dining with my wife, a friend, and one of my sons, we were once again blown away by the quality and variety of the menu. The ingredients are second to none, and the duck breast—truly one of the best I’ve ever tasted. This restaurant is a jewel in the crown of Abbeville Road. The food, service, and ambiance are consistently exceptional, making it a reliable choice every time. Thoroughly recommended for anyone looking for a memorable dining experience.

Absolutely outstanding Steak and ale pie was about as perfect as you can get..the steaks were flavoursome and perfectly cooked The apple toffee pud beautiful Could not recommend this pub/restaurant more Thanks to the good people of the fox and pheasant for a top notch lunch!!
