Best Gluten Free Restaurants in Highbury

Fantastic! We had the feasting menu and it more than lived up to our expectations. Meeting Sebby was an added bonus!

A truly five star experience! Staff were flawless, the afternoon tea was a delight; the sandwiches and pastries were very good. We didn’t realise one could ask for more sandwiches, otherwise we would have attended with more of an appetite! Coffee (decaf available) was offered as an alternative to tea which was appreciated.

Lovely local restaurant with a great atmosphere. We have eaten here twice in the last couple of weeks, as it’s our go-to place to bring visitors, and the food never disappoints. There’s a good variety of starters, all of which seemed to be prepared fresh. Had a delicious smoky aubergine dish and lamb skewers on this visit, along with some salads. Highly recommended.

Frank’s was an absolute treat! Every dish we ordered was flavor packed and delicious. We had tickets for a show at the Park Theatre and thought it was a slightly closer walk and there was a train delay so we ended up in a bit of a rush to make curtain time. The staff was knowledgeable, accommodating and very kind. We plan on coming back when we have a bit more time to savor the full experience. I can’t recommend this charming place highly enough.

I never write a review however, being celiac, as well as my daughter and dairy free, this restaurant excellent flavors the food was phenomenal. The service was even phenomenal. My daughter and I are also allergic to shellfish and they made sure everything was allergy friendly. This is one of our first restaurants in London, where we didn’t have any cross-contamination and did not feel sick after our meal. Highly recommend if you have celiac disease.
