Two Italian guys in their twenties met in Manchester to find out that they shared a unique passion; they both loved and missed, the Italian Aperitivo, the ritual of drinking, nibbling and relaxing after work. By the end of that very same year, Veeno was born: a place where everyone could enjoy great wines and the most authentic Spuntini – platters of meats, cheeses and other appetisers imported from strictly selected Italian producers. Our wines come from Caruso & Minini, our family vineyard back in Sicily where great-grandfather Antonio planted the first vines in the XIX century. Our second time at Sprout Kitchen and the food and service was excellent. Our waiter was really friendly. Lots of choice on breakfast and brunch menu. Only reason I gave it a 4* for value was I felt the drinks were a bit overpriced- it was my daughters birthday so we had a mimosa each and it was £16.00 I would highly recommend it but book a table as it gets very busy

I had booked a table in the restaurant but was actually seated in the bar dining area. However the table we had was fine as it was reasonably quiet. The service , food and atmosphere were very good. The staff were very polite, friendly and helpful. I have been to The Royal Oak a few times at various times of the day over past 12 months as it is an ideal place to meet ip with friends and will be going again in the new year.
