Best Gluten Free Restaurants in Pound Ridge

Actually, it was better than ever. We loved the new menu and some of the initial changes with new ownership and the staff as always was attentive and fantastic. 

Baldanza at the Schoolhouse is the best! It's head and shoulders above any other restaurant in lower Fairfield County. The food is perfectly cooked and presented every time. The attention to detail is meticulous. My water glass was refilled quickly. The staff is courteous, friendly, and efficient. Last night I had the veal parmesan with homemade pasta, it was outstanding. I always share the fritto misto with fried calamari and shrimp with friends. I had the homemade carrot cake for dessert. It was moist and dense with the right amount of cream cheese frosting and dollops of homemade whipped cream om the side. My only wish is that the dining room were quieter, it's difficult to have a conversation right across the table. My vote is 4.9 stars. I love the Schoolhouse!

Another great experience. I you haven’t been to this Stamford gem you are missing out on a fabulous dining experience. The food is excellent/consistent and the dining room beautifully decorated for the holidays. Simply put it is a charming establishment and a great place to dine before going to one of the many first rate live shows right next door. You will not be disappointed. ❤️

new holidays menu is a dramatic elevation. The chocolate cake feels like a warm embrace, and perfect finish after the steak with Brussels sprouts. The new bartender deserves a standing ovation – their Old Fashioneds are a solid 10/10.
