Best Gluten Free Restaurants in West Austin / Westlake

We celebrated my best friends birthday and had an absolutley beautiful evening. The staff took such great care of us and we were deeply appreciative. I always bring people to Sammie’s when they are in town, truly a gem in Austin 🩷

Love that the entire menu is GF and all the other “free ofs” offerings… we sat right away and were offered coffee or drinks. Only thing was on a Monday morning after marathon Sunday, they were out of the bone broths so that was a bummer! But the chicken salad sandwich was excellent.

All staff are outstanding - friendly, helpful, professional, unpretentious. Food was wonderfully prepared - the chicken was particularly tasty. The only comment is to perhaps see a few vegetable-based sides/appetizers (salads, root vegetables, sauteed broccoli). To its credit, the staff made up a sauteed kale dish on the spot that was terrific, though a bit too salty. We totally appreciate the effort - not a lot of establishments would do that, or have the skill/time to do it successfully. Just a tiny tweak here, and we'd be there every night! :-) One additional note: we were there for our kids' birthdays, which the wait staff recognized with complimentary and spectacular dessert selections - the panna cotta was amongst the best we've ever had. Very much appreciate, crew! We look forward to returning!

From the moment we walked in, the staff treated us like valued guests, demonstrating an impressive knowledge of both the menu and cooking techniques. The pork belly was nothing short of revelatory - perfectly rendered with a crackling exterior that gave way to melt-in-your-mouth meat beneath. My wife's bavette was cooked to absolute perfection, showcasing the restaurant's mastery of open-flame cooking. The attention to detail in every dish proves why Hestia stands at the pinnacle of Austin's dining scene. What truly sets Hestia apart is the combination of exceptional food and impeccable service. Our server was attentive without being intrusive, and their passionate knowledge of each dish enhanced our dining experience. The elegant atmosphere and open kitchen add to the theatrical experience of watching the chefs work their magic over the flames. Without hesitation, this was the best meal we've had in Austin. If you're looking for a truly memorable dining experience, Hestia is absolutely worth every penny.
