Peppercorn’s Grill is owned and operated by the Cialfi siblings, Sal and Dino, Brothers Sal and Dino purchased Peppercorn's Grill in 1989 and opened Piccolo Arancio in 1994. This generation of Cialfi's has added modern creativity and personality to traditional strengths of their Italian roots. Sal and Dino were trained in the art of Italian food at their uncle's restaurant in Rome. When the opportunity to open a restaurant arose, they jumped at the opportunity and opened the first Piccolo Arancio in Rome. Piccolo Arancio was internationally acclaimed within their first year.     We had a wonderful pre-theater meal at Trumbull Kitchen. Megan was the hostess when we arrived and was terrifically accommodating on our request for a table in a specific location. The service was excellent, and we all thoroughly enjoyed our dinners. Everything tasted as beautifully as it looked. It's a wonderful place to go for a drink or dinner before the theater. My only less-than-enthusiastic comment was that the restaurant was very loud made worse by music playing way too loudly in my opinion. It makes it a challenge to have good conversation over dinner.

    Went there on February 13 with my wife to celebrate valentine day from when we came in the door to when we were leaving staff was great,restaurant had beautiful atmosphere Ron are waiter was excellent and food was phenomenal will definitely be going back there again I would recommend this place for a couple intimate meal

    Went for an early Valentine's Day dinner and everything was just perfect. Lovely waitress, two excellent appetizers we shared (pear salad and tuna tartare) and both excellent dinners (black sea bass from the specials menu and paella). Molten chocolate beignets for dessert with cappuccinos finished of a wonderful evening. OOH...and we shared a bottle of champagne from the February discount bottle menu...a delightful surprise!

    We thoroughly enjoyed both chicken entrées. Who knew they could be so different and yet both extremely delicious. The Peruvian chicken and the chicken confit. The shrimp was the best as an appetizer. Absolutely perfectly cooked and delicious. Would love to see the chicken confit join the menu, not just a chef special it was that good!
