We are a family owned business located in the centre of York by the River Ouse. While we were visiting York we wanted to have a meal with a special friend and bring our dogs. What a great choice. A table that was slightly to one side so we weren’t in close proximity to anyone else. Very friendly and accommodating staff and delicious food and wine. Also a very relaxed atmosphere so no pressure to hurry and very reasonably priced. We had a wonderful evening. Infact we liked it so much we went back the next day for lunch!

Beautiful food as always, service very friendly and professional. We come to Cote every New Year’s Day when we stay away for a couple of nights so we visit them in different locations. Staff had worked late the pervious night but were still very attentive.

Family night out for start to Xmas. Easy to reserve table on internet, we turned up a bit early so went for a drink in bar. That was a little more noisier but not too bad. Shown to table in the ‘Snug’ where it was much quieter and food orders taken quite quickly. Food comes owed to order so took a while to arrive but it was worth it, the food was piping hot, well presented and tasted lovely Will definately go back again
