- WWendyVIPGreater Boston •42 reviews4.0Dined 1 day agoWe normally love The Banks but the food tonight did not deliver the nuanced, wonderful experience we’ve come to expect. Let me first say that the service was outstanding as usual and that was fantastic. But to the food. Specifically, the salmon with saffron risotto—the risotto was so cheesy that it actually over-powered the saffron giving it a thick pasty texture. The Halibut was described as having Lion’s Mane mushroom which I love and was excited about. Well, on entire plate there were two 1/4 inch pieces of Lion’s Mane dowsed in a thick mushroom sauce that was almost gummy. The root vegetable gratin again was overly cheesy to the point that you could not taste the vegetables. Overall the food lacked finesse and both meals were disappointing.More infoThe Banks Seafood and SteakPrice: Expensive• Seafood• Back Bay•4.5
- EEllieMaine •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoThis is hands down the best steakhouse and fine dining experience in Boston - we celebrated my boyfriend's birthday and he got the Wagyu steak! I tried it and it tasted so tender and buttery and decided that I really love this steak - even as a non-steak eater ! Just remember to be specific with your busser and be clear about what you're still working on finishing - don't say I'm all set, or they will clear your plates - they have a very high standard of service and it shows! Liam brought us a personal birthday card and checked on us, which was so sweet and added that personal touch we've all been craving! GET the chocolate cake if you have room! It was expensive but actually so worth it - with an app, drinks, and 2 premium meals and 2 sides (creamed spinach and mashed potato), plus the tip it was $360 - so be prepared with your credit card to take a hit - but it's actually so worth it for the level of customer service and experience - the bread it also a huge bonus but don't fill up on it too quickly because the main plates are so abundant and heavenly!More infoMooo BEACON HILLPrice: Moderate• Steakhouse• Beacon Hill•4.7

All our food arrived in a timely fashion, and all was tasty and portion sizes were ample. Our server was attentive without being overbearing. He let us move our evening along. Thank you. See you soon!More infoEarls Kitchen + Bar - Boston - Prudential CenterPrice: Expensive• American• Back Bay•4.5
- NNorrisGreater Boston •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoI eat lunch there today and have the steak tips which were marvelously, tender and delicious. I was only sad and that there was no choice of sides and it only came with french fries which I was trying very hard to avoid, and would much rather have had a vegetable optionMore infoAbe & Louie’s - BostonPrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Back Bay•4.7
