Best Restaurants with a Happy Hour in Bellerose

Excellent birthday dinner for my son and my family. Service fantastic and same with the food.

Everything about Sparrow Kitchen & Cocktails is amazing! The service, the ambiance, and last and most importantly the food, are phenomenal. My favorite app was the Hamachi Crudo, under the raw bar section of the menu. We also ordered the grilled octopus special (highly recommend). For dinner I enjoyed the cacio e pepe and my husband the rigatoni limone. All pastas are made fresh daily, so needless to say, dinner was impeccable.

Park Place Restaurant absolutely exceeded our expectations. The service was incredible. The penne ala vodka was amazing and the steak frites was tender and juicy. We got the special to share which was the BBQ chicken flatbread and it was incredible. We also got buffalo wings as an appetizer and they were delicious. The owner, Pat came to the table and checked how everything was going and the manager stopped over to check how everything was coming out while we were eating. Our reservation was for 5:15 and we were seated at 5:10 when we arrived. We were finished and on our way to UBS Arena for a show by 6:15. It was a perfect dinner before heading to the Arena, which is a short train ride away.

The food and service from our waiter was excellent!! The hostess on the other hand was horrible! We arrived at 5pm the restaurant had one other group of people sitting for dinner. We asked for a table not a booth and the hostess brings us to a booth! She said that was all she had a sitar this time. The restaurant was empty!!!! We showed her a table and asked to sit there and she finally brought us to it. (without a smile). They should think about getting a new hostess .
