Best Restaurants with a Happy Hour in Burnaby

My husband, brother and I went to Earls Brentwood for my anniversary brunch. Our hostess and server, Gabe, were both welcoming, kind-spoken and had a positive energy. We even received TWO dessert plates (one for my husband and me and one for my brother) as an anniversary treat on the house- how generous and a sweet touch!

Great experience at tap and barrel brentwood for the hubby’s birthday. Our booth was ready right on time, our food and drinks didn’t take too long and our server was helpful with a great attitude. Overall, we were impressed with the food and ambience. Would love to come check out the patio in the summer too.

Had a great meal at our go to keg last night which is the Burnaby Keg. Arrived 15 minutes early and it was super busy. The hostess at the front desk got us to our table early. Our server introduced himself as Tod. He gave us out standing service throughout the evening to make it very enjoyable. Our food arrived hot and was cooked to perfection. I believe the manager who we think was Barry brought our meal to our table which was a nice touch. Part way through our meal the kitchen manager who introduced himself as Sully came to check to see how our meals were. In the end another manager Bradley came to see how everything was as we were finishing up. The food in the end was excellent and the service was above expectations and is why we consistently eat at this location. We will be back.

We had a wonderful dinner at the Atlas in Burnaby. It was our mom’s birthday and she even received a complimentary delicious dessert. The meals were all excellent and our server was the best. We always enjoy dining here. I highly recommend this lovely restaurant!

At the start, service was good and attentive. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals and proximity to dance floor was amazing (as requested) As the evening wore on, it got very crowded, service declined (but server was very nice) and the amount of people "crowding" the pathways and just standing around on the dance floor or blocking your exit was a bit much. The DJ was great, playing all kinds of music that appealed to many age groups. The one negative ... it would be better if they had a little more handle of crowd control.
