Best Restaurants with a Happy Hour in Estero

Our server Josalyn , only 18 and a criminal justice major in junior college, is soo personable and friendly but so efficient and timely with our drinks and courses that it just made our 38th anniversary dinner a wonderful experience to remember! And I cannot thank our hostess enough who arranged a special table indoors for us on literally 2 hours’ notice, when I realized we had driven almost 400 miles the day before,planning to celebrate at Connors and I had thought I had made the reservation but had not! Everyone else treated us royally as well. This is one place where “same old, same old….” Is a GOOD thing, like each time in the past. We now plan to dine at Connors at least once every time we come near Sanibel or Ft Myers. Last year in December, even drove down from Clearwater for the day

Everything was fabulous but I am not a fan of field weeds for my salad. It wasn’t posted on menu what the steakhouse salad had in it. I was hoping for iceberg with romaine. Dressing was great but not the leaf choices.

From the moment I pulled up with my mom, the valet was right there to assist her out of the car. Alejandro, our server, was polite, attentive, and had a great sense of humor. The food was absolutely delicious—my mom loved the mussels appetizer, and my kale salad was tender and flavorful. The scallops and sea bass were perfectly cooked and so filling we couldn’t finish, but we made sure to bring cannolis home for dessert. After dinner, they walked us out and wished us a great evening. The entire experience, from the service to the incredible food, was truly worth it!

This is our second time eating dinner at South Fork Grill on Christmas Eve. 2024 was much busier than 2023! Quality of food and service did not disappoint! Would definitely recommend.

I ordered the Steak and Fettuccini with Huancaina Sauce. We tasted each other's dishes and while they were all very good, my family all raved that my plate was the best. Be ready, though...the portion is huge. It is enough for two. I am a big guy and only finished half. In fact, all the portions were huge and each one of us took home leftovers. Such a great value. The place is by far one of my favorite restaurants.
