Best Restaurants with a Happy Hour in Lockport

The Food and drinks were incredible! The surf and turf came with an amazing sauce for the lobster! The empanadas were a great starter, flavorful with a decadent sauce. The elephant in the room cocktail was expertly poured, mixed and served with a tasteful tajin around the rim of the glass. The service was immaculate and unrivaled by other restaurants of the same caliber. I proposed to my fiance at Che and the staff were so accommodating and helpful with my proposal that I made the experience even better.

This was our first time at this restaurant. We made reservations thru open table. This process was very simple. We are glad we did as the restaurant was fully booked, and they were turning people away. The service, food, and ambiance were all good. I would have preferred a different preparation of the brussel sprouts. There were very few actal brussel sprouts in this dish. It was mostly leaves. I suggest roasting the brussel sprouts, not frying. Add sweet potatoes and coat with EVOO and spices. Absolutely delicious and heart healthy. This pairs beautifully with the salmon, which was very good.

Food is absolutely amazing, we have gone to a lot of similar Mexican/Latin fusion restaurants before and this one is by far the best. We had the traditional guacamole, tropical ceviche to start - both fantastic. We then had tacos, I got the pastor and my husband got the carnitas - we both agreed that the pastor was better but the carnitas was not bad, next time we would both get the pastor because they were out of this world. Both got a side of esquites, very good! Ended with churro bites and were very tasty! Would absolutely recommend going here and feel like the price definitely matches the quality of food, if not a steal! Service was great too!

Burgers were to die for! The general manager sat us at a scenic area and gave us some information as it was our first time in Chicago. Only down side was we ordered calamari but never got it and the server checked on us when we were already done our meal without ever receiving the appetizer. Otherwise the restaurant was beautiful and food was so good. Would definitely return.
