Mr. Pate opened the doors to what would soon become one of Cape Cod’s most beloved restaurants.     We had a lovely Valentine's Dinner at the Wild Goose Tavern and everyone was delicious! Filet Mignon was perfectly cooked. Shrimp Scampi was wonderful too! We ended the meal sharing a chocolate lava cake - OMG - so so good. We had a terrific time.

    Visited for Valentine's evening (had reservations), and was treated to the usual PERFECT 10+ night out of dining. Our server Katy was terrific. The food was fabulous (of course, we had the oysters, we had the duck/risotto/bok choy and the seared tuna). Truly one of the most consistent, special places around the mid-Cape area.

    This was our second visit to Ocean Edge, our first visit to the Terrace. There was a wedding reception the night we attended and we weren't able to see the water as the result. It was beautiful to be outside and the heaters helped keep us warm. The prices are really high on the food but the portions are not large. Next time, I will return to another local favorite which has delicious food and larger portion sizes for the price. Ocean Edge is beautiful, but I don't think we will return.
