Best Restaurants with a Happy Hour in Trexlertown

We had come into Philly to enjoy some holiday shopping and I thought Dandelion would be a nice, cozy spot for lunch on a cold December day. It was perfect! We were shown to a lovely corner booth upstairs where every table was full, but the noise level was a non-issue. Bella proved to be a knowledgeable and professional server and had good suggestions regarding beverages and menu selections. I enjoyed the salmon pate and my husband's burger was terrific. It was the typical Stephen Starr restaurant experience: creative, authentic decor; well-trained professional staff; and great food.

First time here & we’re nervous when we were nervous that the parking lot was kind of empty on a Friday night. To our complete surprise it was one of the best meals/experiences we’ve had in a long time here in the valley!!! Outstanding food, drinks and service!!!  by the time we left the restaurant was full of people!!

First time in the heated greenhouse and would definitely dine there again; nice atmosphere. Only suggestion would be to get higher chairs. Just a bit too low. Server was great, even suggesting a beer he thought I’d enjoy (and he was right!). Had the Burger of the Month (Mediterranean w/Greek yogurt and feta + diced cuce salad) that was cooked as ordered- YUM! Fries are always tasty, if a bit too salty. You really can’t go wrong dining at Union and Finch. Good kitchen, bar and waitstaff, consistently good food, lively atmosphere!

I a bacon cheeseburger that was better than I expected. Washed it down with a vanilla milkshake. My daughter got the grilled cheese and she liked it . She considers herself a bit of a grilled cheese connoisseur. We came two Wednesdays before Christmas and the place was jam-packed but it was a great atmosphere and the decorations are splendid. It seemed like everyone who stepped through the door was immediately in a joyous mood. I guess it’s the ambience of the place.

Excellent service and better than expected food. Wine was fantastic.
