Best Restaurants with a Happy Hour in Washington Park

Loved the garlic cheese curds as an appetizer - enough for 2 to share. Jaymy was a fantastic waiter! It was loud downstairs but just right upstairs.

The staff is always very friendly and so kind. The sushi is always top notch and melts in your mouth. The only sad part is that most everything was sold out by Saturday night. Four to five of the items that we were trying to order were already sold out by the time with got to dinner at 7:00pm. I've had sushi in Seattle, Baltimore, San Fransico, and Seoul, South Korea, and Izakaya Den is easily my top choice in sushi.

I got the Nadene pizza and it was spectacular!! We tried the Tony and the Curt as well! The energy is amazing and the food was fantastic. The ranch was house made and some of the best I have ever had. 10/10 recommend!

We sat at the counter and really enjoyed chatting with the chef throughout our meal. It felt like we were hanging out at his house, eating at the kitchen island while he cooked. The chef recommended the camote asado, callo de hacha al horno, enmoladas de pollo, and the taco de suadero. Our favorite bites were the enmoladas de pollo and the taco de suadero. The tortillas and sauces are so good! We also had the birria de borrego which was really good but not quite worth the price compared to the other dishes we enjoyed.

Amazing experience! Started with the prosciutto, a pinot grigio, and had the tagliatelle, followed by the torta. It was all so wonderful! HIGHLY recommend the tagliatelle!! I sat at the bar, where Caesar waited on me, and he was exceptional. Highly attentive but not over-bearing; he was personable and friendly. I loved the ambiance as well. It should also be said, Caesar went above and beyond, and is an expert in his craft! Make a reservation, and you will not be disappointed.
