Core de Roma has been our favorite Italian restaurant in the Philadelphia area since we discovered their original location in West Chester 8 years ago. We were sad when they had to close their West Chester location! Now that they’re in Belmont Hills they’re a little harder to get to but SO worth the trip. Gigi and Judy run a fantastic restaurant that feels like a family visit to Rome every time we go! The value and the authenticity can’t be beat. Gigi’s recipes are authentic Roman Italian recipes the way Italian food was meant to be enjoyed. Judy makes most of the desserts herself and they’re absolutely worth saving room for! HIGHLY recommended. Try the suppli, the penne vodka, the core de Roma salad and don’t skip on Judy’s cannolis! Go and discover this hidden gem!

My third time at Little Water although this time for brunch. The menu isn’t your typical brunch menu—it’s beyond eggs and bagels, thankfully. We had the mackerel and tuna dishes, both delicious. The bitter green salad and sour dough bread were perfect sides and the funky Italian Rose didn’t disappoint. The service thanks to our waiter Jackson was personable, warm and professional. Only downer was the dessert choices—very limited and not exactly of interest for our birthday girl but the signed card was. Many thanks to the team here…you’re doing great…and I’ll be back!

Nice, quiet, clean atmosphere. The steak was on of the best I’ve ever had. Extremely flavorful, perfectly cooked. The cheesesteak eggrolls are delicious too.

What an amazing place! Hands down the best empanadas I’ve ever had in this city. Had the pleasure of talking with Jezabel & Mariana Velasquez along with many other interesting local women for the kick off of Cookbooks & Convos. It was most definitely a night to remember!
