Best Kid Friendly Restaurants in Decatur

I apologize for not remembering the name of our server. Hopefully you can look this up under our reservation. But that gentleman, overheard me discussing my birthday and the birthday of my daughter. He brought us free dessert, wished me a happy birthday, knowing my daughter was not at the dinner with us, and wish both of us a wonderful birthday and a happy life. He was wonderful. 

I have always loved Sweet Auburn, and my recent visit to celebrate my birthday was no exception. As always, the food was delicious, and the bartender crafted some super tasty cocktails. But on this particular occasion, I had the unique opportunity to meet one of the owners (Anita). I mentioned I was there for my birthday, and next thing I know, I get a surprise banana pudding for dessert - candle and all! My server (Diamond) also shined (no pun intended). She was knowledgeable about the menu, conversational, and friendly. My visit was more than just a delicious meal, it was a wonderful experience. Precisely what you dine-in for! Looking forward to my next visit!

My experience at Bar Margot was was great! I enjoyed the food and drinks. I had a burger, calamari a raspberry lemon drop. The amount of time it took waiting on the food was not long. The ambience was very nice. The waiter had amazing service. He continuously checked on me gave suggestions and just overall gave me a great experience. I would definitely go back.

Food was good. Fries were room temp. Diet cokes are $3 a piece. I’m used To most restaurants having fountain soda.

Metro fresh is a great soup and salad style restaurant. And they also have traditional, breakfast, lunch, and dinner menu items. Very casual, welcoming, and relaxing. Great place to connect with an old friends, or have a casual date with somebody special. It is reasonably priced, and the food is absolutely delicious. You can tell the chef uses only fresh and natural ingredients, tons of taste while still healthy at the same time. I recommend the bone broth in the morning. And for a special treat at night, I recommend getting the Smashburger, which is onions & cheese, no bun, a cup of chili poured over top. A knife and fork style burger, to die for.
