Best Kid Friendly Restaurants in Kitsilano

Had a lovely brunch today at the Tap & Barrel Bridges on Granville Island. They do a Happy Hour brunch before noon with all brunch $4 off so you have nothing to lose. The food was great, our server, Avielle was lovely and it's a perfect spot to sit. I have been here many times but didn't know about the deal on brunch. I'll be back - great food, great location and value.

The food was amazing. I never had much experience with Persian food, although I do love Mediterranean food. I was so happy to have had this experience. The restaurant is beautiful! We started with the smoked olives (DO NOT OVERLOOK THIS AMAZING APPETIZER!) then for mains we got the duck fesenjoon and the braised beef and holy smokes they were amazing. Such complex yet perfectly balanced flavours, excellent textures and meat cooked perfectly. For dessert we got the saffron ice cream. It was pretty but the texture of the ice cream was meh, and I wasn't too into the flavour. It might just not be for me. For drinks we got the pomegranate margarita and sour cherry negroni and I would recommend both but moreso the pomegranate margarita. Service was great and everything came out pretty quickly as well.

We come every year during this time of year as its my partners birthday. We just love the keg. The good food, pricing for the value, good atmosphere and good service. Austin was our waiter this time (and i think also the last time we paid the keg a visit), and he was just great. Great personality and attentive. Made the night even more enjoyable. We returned to Selena for the second week in a row due to the fantastic food, service, and atmosphere. Our second visit was equally delightful. The chefs here are exceptionally skilled and purposeful; I doubt there are better chefs in the city. Kudos to the entire team, and we're already planning to come back next week. The wine program and cocktails are also top-notch and added to our enjoyment You’re very happy to have had Josh and Anna there for our second visit !!!
