An understated storefront hides a coveted skyline view—just one of the many ways you could underestimate this longtime cafe on Mount Baker’s main drag. The menu, the sign—even the name—are a bit of a throwback, but current owners Guy Devillier and David Hoefer took over in 2018 and keep things attuned to today. Carbonara packs more nuance than you might expect, the slightly crackly pizza’s better than it has to be, and the bar pours lambrusco and negroni. No wonder tables are loaded with a diversity of diners.

The Crab Pot Bellevue is a fun and casual restaurant specializing in delicious seafood sitting on Lake Bellevue with a beautiful water view. What makes this particular restaurant famous is its incredible Seafeast. We take a variety of fresh seafood steamed with mouth-watering spices, we pour it out on the table on butcher paper, give you a bibs & tools & let you go at it! There are several varieties of Seafeast available but they all have one thing in common: giant buckets of seafood poured directly onto the table. For those looking for a more traditional entrée, The Crab Pot Bellevue has a wide variety of menu options. Our menu is made up of fried, fresh, or grilled seafood, chicken, burgers and sandwiches. While the seafood options are delicious, there are plenty of other beautiful dishes as well like the colossal bacon cheeseburger, and grilled or teriyaki chicken breasts with seasonal vegetables to please all. Save room for our famous Mud Pie or 'Cake in the Pan' desserts!

Our first time there and our experience was absolutely fantastic! Of course the views were incredible and we found the service to be excellent as well. The food was some of the best we have ever had….I really cannot think of enough adjectives to do the restaurant justice. We live in the area and will definitely recommend this others and will come back! Our compliments to the staff and the chef!

We went to That's Amore twice in the past 2 weeks, it's that good. The first time we didn't have a reservation, but were able to sit at their small (4 seat) bar and chat up the owner, Guy (who's a really nice Guy)! Our recent visit we were lucky to get a window seat, even though it's hard to see the view at night. There was a family birthday celebration at the table behind us, hence the "moderate" noise level. The servers are excellent. The food is consistently good. My friend's "fresh catch" was halibut on risotto, and while a generous portion, she thought it was a touch dry. I told our server that I couldn't decide on the Alfredo with chicken or the chicken parmesan, and she said I could have both! So they put my chicken parm on top of Alfredo; simply delicious. My only complain is that they have a $35 corkage fee; I'd rather it be $25, but next time I'll try one of their bottles. Highly recommended...but you do need a reservation!
