Best Lunch Restaurants in Carmel / Westfield

This place is an experience. There's no other restaurant like it in the area. It's magical. The decor is gorgeous. The food is fantastic. It is expensive but the ingredients are all top notch and make the price worth it. This is not just a bakery. The lunch and dinner menu items are delicious. I loved everything about this special place. You should get reservations particularly if you want to go on the weekend. We had the Kir Royal champagne cocktail, truffle pomme frites, lemon piccata, chicken velvet soupe and blackberry avocado salade. Hot chocolate. Earl and millionaire cake. Raspberry champagne macaron. Everything was delicious. Highly recommend.

Always can count on an excellent meal here, tonight was no different (best shrimp cocktail and prime rib sandwich in town), but tonight stands out because of the service. L.J. was our server and he was so pleasant and professional , he made an ordinary night feel special. He was very knowledgeable about the specials, never made us look for him, and always had a smile on his face. We eat out a lot so we notice when someone is particularly good at their job. Thanks L. Hannah was a good server. If you could offer a regular veggie patty that would be good.

Overall a good experience. Could have used a little more sensitivity to timing needs. (We needed to get to a show and the server did not seem sensitive to our timing). My New York strip steak, while well prepared, had too much gristle.

Olivia was lovely, attentive, engaging and every course was timed perfectly. She told the chef it was my birthday and a gorgeous banana walnut cake arrived, compliments of the staff. Thank you for a memorable evening!
