- JJudyPalm Springs / Palm Desert Cities •27 reviews5.0Dined todayDinner was wonderful. Had happy hour menu items and they were perfect size for a light meal. Only complaint was we were charged for extra chips to go with our starter guacamole. Ridiculous as we were only given chips to begin with.More infoSi BonPrice: Moderate• Bistro• Rancho Mirage•4.8
- EEileenCalifornia Central Coast •6 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoWe have been to Wally's Desert Turtle several times and it always has impeccable service, outstanding food, and a polished, up-scale atmosphere. I am watching my carb intake so I ordered the braised short rib which was very good and I had never ordered before. I probably won't again as it was a little dry to my liking. I started with the tuna tartare which was superb! My son had the Chilean sea bass and said it was delicious. My husband had the chicken which he had never ordered before but said it was very good as well. The servers were attentive without being obtrusive. The only nit was that they brought our food before we had finished our appetizers so they took it back and kept it hot until we were ready. We really enjoy going to Wally's and will definitely be back!More infoWally's Desert TurtlePrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary American• Rancho Mirage•4.8

- RRichardVIPPalm Springs / Palm Desert Cities •73 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoLoved the restaurant, the food and the service. Prices, especially given the fact it was Valentine's Day, were very reasonable. They kept to the original menu with a few added specials which was refreshing. Most places go to a restricted menu with elevated prices. My only negative comment concern how they do or don't inform diners of certain prices. Server asks if you'd like bread & butter. Your response is "Sure" because it's complimentary but not here. It's a $5.00 up charge. Reasonable, yes, but totally unexpected. All menu items are reasonable priced and well prepared. They have a nice wine list, heavy on French wines (figures) but at very competitive prices. All in all I'd say this is a dining delight that we'll come back to again and again all the while remembering there's no free breand and butter.More infoFrench Rotisserie CafePrice: Moderate• French• Palm Desert•4.7
- KKateVIPPalm Springs / Palm Desert Cities •20 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoWe went based on a recommendation from a friend and we were 100% pleased! The service was wonderful. To start with, we REALLY appreciate the generous pours on the glasses of wine…so many restaurants charge high prices for mediocre wines and then pour 5, maybe 6 ounces. So getting a 7 or 8 ounce pour is greatly appreciated. And then the food…we thought it was very fairly priced and the quality was outstanding. From the General Tso cauliflower appetizer to the prime rib and N.Y. Steaks PERFECTLY cooked and absolutely delicious sides to go with them. Cannot wait to tell friends!More infoWillie'sPrice: Expensive• Contemporary European• Rancho Mirage•4.7
