Best Lunch Restaurants in Cresskill

I stumbled into this restaurant by chance on a trip back from NYC. What a gem! First, the food quality is difficult to match. My wife and I chose the $34 menu and had to take food back home. Very generous portions. This restaurant has mothing to envy to Avras in Manhattan's E60th street. Their orange cake is definitely better than Avras. And then, add the super service. Very very friendly service, make you feel at home, Kristos, Scarlet, Lefteris and Lilian: Thank you for a great stay and meal.

The restaurant was quiet on the Monday night that we were there. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The service excellent. The food delicious. French Onion dumplings unique and light tuna tartare perfect! The main courses were wonderful also, halibut vinaigrette and pork shoulder with cannellini beans.

Great neighborhood spot. It doesn't rest on its laurels. There are new menu items to complement the classics. Highly recommended if you enjoy high quality authentic Middle Eastern cuisine. (The innovative crab cake appetizer and amazing ricotta fritters dessert deserve special mention.)

Best food we’ve had in a while. Great service and tasteful dishes that are simply brilliant! The place is beautiful and can accommodate large crowds. Will definitely go back!

We always enjoy Axia. The zucchini chips as a shared starter is first rate. There's one vegan option, which is a good idea as my wife is vegan. Their pastitsio is served en croute. Only issue tonight was restaurant was full (good for the owner) but service was a tad slower than usual.
