Here at the Ship in Distress, we are the perfect retreat to sit back, relax and indulge in our delicious food with the perfect drink in hand. We love our coastal location and our bar pays tribute to this with a fittingly traditional nautical theme! Dogs are welcome and we've got a large car park for visitors and plenty of seating space. The Manor’s Restaurant serves rustic fare in an elegant setting with a focus on homemade, comforting cooking. Family birthday get together. Everyone was impressed by the great value for money. Good selection of courses and the drinks were served quickly throughout the meal. Friendly staff and clean throughout. Very nice pub with plenty of charm. Absolutely no complaints about this visit, so thank you for a lovely time 😊.

Great meal in lovely location. Restaurant elegant with a relaxed atmosphere. Menu not large but had a good varied choice. Food well cooked and beautifully presented. Reasonably priced. Only criticism would be the lack of vegetables with the meal - they were more of a garnish. Would have liked a side dish of veg especially as the meat portions were quite large. Would definitely recommend.
