Best Lunch Restaurants in Herndon

Had brunch with six friends at Cooper’s Hawk today. It was my first time there, and the whole experience was lovely. Our server, Destiny, was very attentive and accommodating, and the food was great. I shared two entrees (chilaquiles and avocado toast) with another person, and both were excellent. Others around the table also enjoyed their food, including a slice of key lime pie. I did not try the pie, instead having the truffle of the month, delicious dark chocolate and peppermint. Lots of menu choices for vegetarians! As a bonus, the restaurant is very close to Next Stop Theatre, where we went to a fabulous Shawshank Redemption matinee. And one last comment - Destiny kept my iced tea glass full at all times, without my having to ask, which is one of the most important things to me at a restaurant, whether it’s iced tea or water - a personal quirk, I guess…

Great restaurant and food was great as well! Wanted to send a shout-out to the service. Seems like all the staff were just very nice and attentive. Our server was such a nice individual who consistently checked on us and was very accommodating.

Our waiter was a little clumsy but very kind. Unfortunately they sat three tables in his section (we were one of them) literally within 5 minutes of each other. Yet he kept his composure and was attentive. Fantastic meal! Hearty tasty food at retro prices. Really enjoyed my quinoa breakfast bowl (various textures, sunny side up egg perfectly cooked!). My friend enjoyed his loaded grill cheese stuffed with short rib and Mac n cheese. We left full and happy!! If we lived here (we were visiting), this would be a frequent visit!!

Go every year for Thanksgiving we had Prime Rib,& Salmon with all the fixings Brought a Turkey dinner home for Friday Leftovers. Choose your main course & Pie deserts selections on menu every meal comes with stuffing potatoes cranberry sweet potato ect. Will be back next Thanksgiving

The food is always excellent, it’s fun to choose your own adventure with their wine flights and we love the vibe. One of our favorite restaurants and look forward to going again soon
