Best Lunch Restaurants in London

Had a superb business lunch today at L’Escargot - the food was sublime, ditto the service, space - everything Perfect venue for a business lunch.

Local favorite when I visit London. I suggest ordering one of the tasting menus to get a great sample of all the cuisines. Service is friendly and professional.

Great Sunday lunch. Everything seemed to be freshly cooked and good quality - mains and desserts. The sharing platter is huge and a little difficult to serve up as the plates are quite small. The beef was very good although we all felt that the lamb was quite fatty as was the pork although it was also very tasty. The pork ribs were a bit of a disappointment bread and butter pudding for dessert was very good. Service was friendly and attentive throughout and there was a good atmosphere in the restaurant.

Eloise was our server today and she was brilliant. Really attentive, caring and polite. She even saw we had a lot of food left and suggested we take a doggie bag! The food was delicious… and I can’t wait to visit again. Nice layout and ambience too.

We ate at Sola on a Wednesday lunchtime for my 60th birthday having seen it featured on Masterchef. I am soooo glad that we did. There was nothing that day could have been improved upon. We had the set menu lunch and wine pairing and between the two us I think we had every menu option. We both loved all of our food choices which were both delicious and clever and the service was impeccable. All of the staff managed to be both professional, charming and welcoming simultaneously. Sola's brand new sommelier was brilliant and really added to the experience. Overall, food, people and service made for a really memorable lunch. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this restaraunt.
