- EEmmaVIPChicago / Illinois •10 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoFood was outstanding - best Italian food I’ve had in Texas. We had the tuna carpaccio and roasted carrots for the appetizer - both were loaded with flavor and super unique. We then had the bolognese pasta and vodka sauce pasta accompanied by broccolini for our entrees. The pasta was perfectly al dente and sauce on both dishes was fantastic - true classic dishes done perfectly. As a Chicagoan, I’ve found it difficult to find any good, authentic Italian food in Texas and this place hit the mark! service was also fantastic - shoutout to Jose! We will be back.More infoMarmoPrice: Moderate• Italian• Montrose•4.6

Came for brunch with a friend and we loved everything about this place. I will definitely come back.More infoSophie Cocktail and Terrace BarPrice: Expensive• French• Montrose•3.7
- GGeorgeHouston •4 reviews4.0Dined on Dec 25, 2024We were a party of 5. We got a nice quiet table in the sun room. Service was attentive. Steaks and red snapper were well prepared and had good taste and texture. I could have done with more sauce vierge on the snapper. The sides were okay but not great. Asparagus (and Bearnaise sauce) lacked much flavor, the pomegranate molasses dressing on the brussels sprouts was a little powerful, the gnocchi came off as pan-fried mashed potatoes. The onion soup was a disappointment - rather sweet, not much flavor to the broth, mushy. Other members of our party were less critical than I was and quite enjoyed their meals. Except the eldest, who usually complains about all the food. :-) All in all, I feel like I should have sneaked in some seasoned salt to perk things up.More infoTonight & Tomorrow at La Colombe d’OrPrice: Expensive• French• Montrose•4.5
