Best Lunch Restaurants in Münchener Freiheit

My family of 3 shared Christmas lunch at Brenner this year while visiting Munich. It was easily one of the best meals we’ve ever had, and certainly at Christmas. We were seated by the pasta kitchen, so got to watch many of the dishes being made before we ordered. Every dish we had was lovely: beef with potatoes and béarnaise, tagliatelle with beef ragout, grilled prawns, crème brûlée, apple crumble and home made bread. The service was excellent, the restaurant beautiful. We really enjoyed this lovely surprise. Thanks to the restaurant staff for working through Christmas. They made the occasion very special for us.

A wonderful evening with good service and more interaction as usual as we decided to book the chefs table. It was interesting to see how the kitchen is prepared and everyone working in harmony together. The food was outstanding, beginning with several small tasting snacks, followed by 8 well balanced courses. All of them with great different textures and flavors. Some surprising combinations of ingredients and the wine pairing matching the dishes perfectly. Overall well worth to visit.

This restaurant has excellent food and a comprehensive wine list and also excellent cocktails and sake choices. The one downside is the very bright red neon sign. I think it would be better if that didn’t exist and it’s quite harsh. Regardless, Jaadin is excellent and I highly recommend it.

Very solid and high quality Vietnam/Panasian place with vibrant atthmosphere and good Munichoiis vibe. Excellent crispy soft shell crab and Shrimp Curry. Spare ribs could have been a bit more on the toasty crunchy side. Good winelist

Everything was amazing, unfortunately in the table aside us was a couple with a dog, nothing against the dog, but the owners feed him onsite and afterwards the poor pet was farting and was very disgusting. But the place is amazing!
