The pub has recently been renovated, including comfortable bedrooms set in seven acres of countryside garden.We are fortunate to be surrounded by the picturesque Norfolk Broads, while Salhouse boasts numerous scenic walks for both guests and four-legged friends to enjoy.The neighbouring village of Wroxham provides plentiful amenities including a department store, local shops and cafes, and is popular with holidaymakers wishing to hire boats - we would all agree that one of the best ways to experience the Broads is on the water!Norfolk also boasts 90 miles of award-winning coastline, with lots of variety to explore. the afternoon again at the lodge was excellent and would highly recommend it also the food and staff are excellent and staff can't help you enough it's a really enjoyable place to eat and enjoy there was 8 people on our table and we all had starters mains and deserts and not one plate went back with any food left well done lodge team

Lovely cosy relaxed atmosphere and good service together with a delicious Christmas Meal made this a delightful evening spent with friends. I would definitely recommend the Beef Bourguigmon, which was amazing and the cheesecake, but everything else was delicious too. Thank you for a very pleasant experience.

Friendly welcome. Only two staff working front of house, so they were under pressure with a large party in at the same time we arrived. The drinks were reasonably priced and not ripped off for a dash of coke, like some other establishments. They serve Aspall cider which was a bonus and not a cheap substitute. The food was very good, well presented and very tasty. They had a woodburner but this was not lit, which was a shame. We will both return as we enjoyed the evening.
