JDs is our place to go for a catch up with friends or to have a great meal. The staff are friendly, the food is amazing and the pub/restaurant has a great atmosphere. It's always clean and tidy, the decor in the restaurant is something else it's worth a visit just to look at that. We are so lucky to have this on our doorstep.

Very attentive staff, lovely food all presented very professionally. Plenty of room between tables which is nice. Menu de jour excellent value with the addition of a couple of specials. Highly recommend.

Absolutely amazing staff, and food, good to have live music, if just a little to loud, but this is of course subjective. Great value, and ambience, I will return with my family. So good for Wivenhoe to have such a venue. Thank you, please maintain your excellent standards.
