Best Lunch Restaurants in Ocean Beach

We were at C-level last night (01/18/25) to celebrate our wedding anniversary! The front desk hosts were most gracious and greeted us and accommodated our request to get a table facing the bay with the most beautiful view! A host named Josh was very courteous and guided us to the best available table! Our waiter, Najeeb, immediately came and presented us with the menu and quick in bringing our drinks (wine). We felt so comfortable and romantic sitting at the table with the heater above us, watching the bay and downtown San Diego skyline! We ordered two big healthy, hearty salad plates with chicken and beef! Those salad plates were very big, and mixed with very nutritious greens, and Najeeb was kind enough to make some changes to the original salad ingredients to our liking! We had a fantastic time, and it was worth every penny we spent there, and certainly we will be returning to C-Level in the near future! Last but not least, since it was our anniversary, Najeeb treated us with a huge piece of very creamy, chocolaty ice cream without any extra charge! We want to thank all the staff there for running a cozy restaurant with a healthy menu and a great selection of wine! Our kudos to Najeeb and Josh for making our romantic evening unforgettable! Fabulous setting with crystal clear views of San Diego across the Bay. Food and drinks were spectacular and the service was brisk and attentive. Inventive take on Mexican classics and lots of unique offerings.

It was our first time at Seneca! Loved the ambiance. All the little details were amazing! The cocktail I had was very tasty and presentation was spectacular. I was a little surprised at how small the pour was for the glass of red wine I ordered, especially since they were a little pricey. Other than that, everything was so just top notch!

I Loved The Accents, Made The Whole Experience Authentic. Not A Long Wait, Food Came In Much Quicker Than I Expected Which Was Amazing. My Daughter Was Super Happy That They Came Back Around To Ask Is If She Wanted Even More Cheese On Our Pasta.Servers All Looked Like They Took Pride In This Place. I Also Love That They Reached Out To Help Me Have A Greater Experience For My Next Visit. The Extra Care Makes All The Difference!

We were a little hesitant because the reviews are mixed, but I am pleased to say that we had a wonderful experience. Jacob was very friendly and attentive and the food was wonderful. We will definitely be back.
