- GGaryMinneapolis - St. Paul •18 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoDaiquiri Dick’s was the first place highly recommended by a friend who said I MUST go. So, my wife and I made a 6:45 pm (pre-sunset is a MUST) reservation , and we arrived a little before 6:30. Here is a beautiful memorial park across the street before we checked into the hostess desk. Two very pleasant and friendly young women greeted us and found our reservation immediately, then a server guided us to our outside, (requested) on the sand, well set table. The view of the ocean, the breaking waves against the shore, and the orange ball of sun dropping low in the west was beyond breathtaking. Within a very short moment, our server for the night, Cedric, introduced himself, and he immediately was so likable and fun. He quickly took our drink orders, and while we looked over the well organized menu, he returned with our beverages. He shared tonight’s specials and when we asked about his favorite appetizers, he perked up with even more enthusiasm to recommend the Famous Captain Crunch Onion Rings, which we will definitely order again, just unbelievable good. My wife, who sometimes finds it hard to find something good on a menu (she’s not much of a meat, seafood person) ordered the Chicken Piccata, which she said was one of her favorite diner out in a very long time, she ate everything on her plate, except for a few capers from the butter sauce. I ordered a Ribeye steak special with a spectacular baked potato, perfectly cooked asparagus spears, and a moist, perfectly cooked (medium) steak that almost filled my plate. We took Cedric’s recommendation for a chocolate chip cookie/ice cream dessert that was so delicious. Everything was phenomenal, but I cannot end without mentioning the live musician, a incredibly gifted guitarist with a smooth, easy to listen to voice. His mastery of the guitar blew us away, yet he was not loud , just a beautiful compliment to an exquisite evening. Everyone was superb, restrooms were clean, and we will be back in a few days. We loved it allMore infoDaiquiri Dick's On the beachPrice: Expensive• Californian• Puerto Vallarta•4.6

- CCrispinMiami - Dade •18 reviews5.0Dined on Jan 29, 2025Absolutely the best sushi in Puerto Vallarta, rivals even my favorite high-end sushi restaurants in New York City and London and San Francisco, at a fraction of those prices! Yes, it is expensive for here, but it’s the real deal and so fresh and so many wonderful options to add on– amazing bartender, and mixologist kind service all around excellent experience.
