- KKateHerefordshire •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoJust great. Excellent service, food was just a celebration for the taste buds. We sat by the fire for a drink. Ate well and then relaxed back at the fire and the chap managing silently refilled the fire without any need for us to say a thing. Just incredible presentation and relaxing. Definitely be going again. Thank youMore infoThe Riverside at AymestreyPrice: Expensive• British• Leominster•4.8
- DDavidLiverpool/Merseyside •3 reviews4.0Dined 6 days agoThis was our first visit to the Lion and we had booked for Sunday lunch. Whilst the quality of the food was very good one slice of meat didn’t quite just justify £22 in our opinion. Overall the service was good, it was a busy restaurant and the staff you could see were working hard. The rest of the meal was good and we intend to visit again.More infoThe Lion at LeintwardinePrice: Expensive• Gastro Pub• Craven Arms•4.5
- PPeterOxford/Oxfordshire •4 reviews5.0Dined 7 days ago14 years go, my wife and I with two close friends had a night in Ludlow and we ate at the Bacasse; a Michelin starred restauant in the town. It was truly superb and we had a very enjoyable time 14 years on, with many memories under our belts we decided to repeat the trip only to learn that the Becasse is no more and has been replaced by Mortimers. We booked a table and had one of the best dining experiences so far. Two of the party were vegetarian and Mortimers produced a specific menu for them. We all had the Tasting Menu with wine Pairing. Each course was extremely tasty and well presented. The staff’s attention to detail was incredible and they were so friendly In summary, there was abolutely nothing to fault here which is very rare these days. Happy memories (again) Hopefully they will still be there in 14 years time :-)More infoMortimersPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary British• Ludlow•4.7
- PPaulineHampshire •4 reviews5.0Dined on Nov 14, 2024Such a friendly welcoming place to eat. Amazing vfm if you choose the set menu . Lots of choice on the menu and the drinks were inexpensive. There are games on some of the tables and a warm open fire it’s like being at home. The food portion size was just right loved the cauliflower veloute soup and pear with ice cream and hot chocolate sauce. Great service lovely food great place to dineMore infoThe Church InnPrice: Moderate• British• Ludlow•4.6

Sausage and mash and Chicken and Ham pie were delicious.More infoThe Bateman ArmsPrice: Moderate• Pub• Leominster•4.6
