Best Lunch Restaurants in Sunset District

The staff was so sweet with our kids, who were a little bit losing their minds. This is a great location and the food is great. Tons of good stuff to choose from, I always have a hard time ordering.

This is one of our very favorite restaurants in San Francisco. Food and service are impeccable. It is particularly lovely to sit in the main room with the fireplace where they are often roasting meat. It is a special place. Don’t tell too many people!!

Wow. We have had omikase in the best SF restaurants and this is our new favorite. On a rainy night it was tempting to stay in Sausalito and go to our standby Sushi Ran, but so glad we made the drive. Zentarou reminds me of Sushi Ran in its early days: surprising touches, impeccable fish, and stellar service. At bargain (compared to other top places) prices.

This was the kind of eating experience that was so good that with each bite all we wanted to do is take another another one. The mushroom soup that came with our meals was a symphony of flavors! We both ate 100% of everything we ordered. When we finished, there was only one thing to do, order desert! Thank you for such a delicious, lovely dining experience.

This is a fine restaurant with excellent food. What it lacks is customers. When we arrived at 7 pm for our reservation, there was only one table filled. More people need to visit and enjoy this nice spot.
