Rengaya has been serving YAKINIKU in North Sydney since 1993, making it one of Australia’s pioneering Japanese barbeque restaurants. Now, that tradition is set to continue at its new digs on Miller Street – just a short stroll from the original location – in a much more modern, striking setting.     Had a lovely evening with a group of friends. Service people friendly. Food pretty good and reasonable prices. Dessert a little disappointing- sticky date pudding dry and stolid. Otherwise happy with our meal.

    For this calibre of restaurant I would have thought they would use fresh hand cut chips not frozen, it puts the quality of the dish down. Everything else was really good. We will return.

    One word: Oiishi!! Don’t hesitate to book the table. Generous servings of deliciousness matched perfectly with their delicious array of cocktails. Definitely order the okonomi, crudo kingfish and fried eggplant. Even the potato salad was a show-stopper. Thank you Miji Bar & Grill for making our anniversary dinner a special one.
