Best Lunch Restaurants in Villa Park

After a disappointing experience on August 17th my husband and I decided to give Gibsons another chance after reassurances from Scott. Well, I have to say this time around was absolutely fantastic! The service was top notch and the food was excellent. Every request was attended to immediately. The entire Gibsons staff were so accommodating and friendly. When I spoke with Scott back in August he said next time we come in to ask for him so that he could make sure we were happy with our dinner. So I did ask for him to stop by and say hello and took several times of me asking before he stopped by, but it was a busy Saturday night so I understand he was busy. That was the only issue otherwise everything was perfect and we are looking forward to our next visit.

My wife had been to the gallery in Chicago and told me Inwould like it. I was a bit dismissive. Have to say the food was really tasty. Had the fried artichokes, fantastic. Had the new fried chicken sandwich, as good as I’ve hade. Subtle and tasty. Butterscotch crème brûlée was great as well. Server Katie was very polite and ambiance was relaxing and classy.

Lucile’s High Tea is the event at Dury Lane we’ve attended over the last 8 years Celebrating with my Wife, daughters, sister and now 3 Granddaughters. I’ve seen changes during the 8 years I’ve been attending but this year Lucile’s “KNOCKED IT OUT THE BOX”! First by serving individual plates per person (vs all together) then serving Savory 1st then Sweets 2nd made the experience so much more enjoyable while increasing the portion size as well. A testimony to this experience was echoed by all my girls “This is my Favorite Christmas Celebration!” Every Year”

Me and my partner went to Redstone for their Thanksgiving dinner BUFFET last week. 5pm reservation and we were seated immediately. The night started with our waiter Josh who from the minute he introduced himself was attentive, friendly, funny and good at his job. LARGE selection of sides, vegetables, customary Thanksgiving sides but I loved the dressing and the gravy. Great ambiance, festive music and nice presentation of the food not in the open but each is a large silver tray that had to be opened to get to the food. Turvey and beef at the carving station. Cornbread, biscuits and numerous different desserts. No kidding quite a spread and Josh gave us the best service possible. A wonderful dining experience and we are still talking about it days later. We are regulars here and really love the service and food! We got to make it for happy hour. We had the sliders, popcorn chicken, avocado chicken rolls and the shrimp taco. All delicious. Hector is the best and always takes care of us. The drinks are made to perfection
