- SSteveLondon •5 reviews4.0Dined 1 day agoReally enjoyed the food but the place was cold and the waiter not the best.. he looked grumpy but didn’t really do anything wrong just not the most welcoming person. £200 is Quite expensive for 5 people having main course lunch but none the less it was very nice.More infoPiccolino - SheffieldPrice: Expensive• Italian• Sheffield•4.3

- DDavidDublin •3 reviews5.0Dined on Nov 22, 2024Responded to the Christmas Menu free Prosecco offer. There was only one starter available but they responded by offering any starter. We had Calamari, which was extremely generous and could have shared one. Then we ordered a sirloin steak at £5 supp. It was delicious, perfectly cooked. Then really excellent Profiteroles. When they brought the bill they had cancelled the supp charge for the steak for the "inconvenience" of choosing our favourite starter!! All the serving staff were extremely pleasant. We've been a few times and we'll obviously be going back!!More infoCarluccio's - Sheffield MeadowhallPrice: Expensive• Italian• Sheffield•4.3
- RRebeccaYorkshire •7 reviews5.0Dined on Oct 4, 2024Had some delicious wines here. I only ate the bread and butter pudding and that was very good. The other food looked amazing that my friends had and they recommended it. Small cosy atmosphere and great service.More infoBench La CavePrice: Moderate• Contemporary French• Sheffield•5
- CTCT70Yorkshire •4 reviews4.0Dined on Apr 10, 2024We approached the bar on arrival, three staff were working but no one seemed to want to come and serve us! The pub wasn’t busy so while waiting, we looked around to see if any tables were reserved, there weren’t any. Finally, one of them came to us, I explained I’d booked a table, they all had another little chat and then said to us “as it’s not busy, you can sit anywhere. Order at the bar”. There was a booth table that wasn’t being used which we would’ve liked to sit in but it was completely full of dirty glasses. We sat nearby, I went to the bar and bought a bottle of wine. Again, I felt that I was getting in their way. I did consider suggesting that we go elsewhere to eat but decided to stick with it. The pub started to get busier and more staff arrived, we ordered another bottle of wine from a guy on the bar who was pleasant and didn’t seem to mind serving us. Staff then started to clear the dirty tables and start reserving them. Our food came within about 20 minutes of ordering and was very nice. The pub itself is very pleasant but feel that it’s let down by the staff. We did enjoy our evening as we own a pub ourselves so don’t get chance to go out much and this was a pre theatre meal bought for my mum as a Mothers Day gift. I don’t feel that I would visit again.More infoSlug & Lettuce - SheffieldPrice: Moderate• International• Sheffield•4
