Best Organic Food Restaurants in Bishops Waltham

Our table for two was ready as booked Seated near the pass so that made it interesting seeing our food prepared. We chose the Christmas set menus and food was very good as was the service

We had a lovely meal at the Farmhouse. It’s been a while since we have eaten here as we normally drink here regularly. The menu was varied and we really enjoyed the Camembert sharing starter & all main meals were really good. I love my pork belly main & the ham hock pie off the specials board was also enjoyed. A very enjoyable evening with friends.

The delay from ordering drinks to getting drinks was a bit of a wait as we waiting nearly half hr for our drinks. 35 mins later our starter came out then within 10 mins our mains came out so we felt we struggled to eat our mains as the starter hadnt gone down. Asked 2x for water to be delivered to table but got it eventually. Food was absolutely perfect, best burger i had anywhere!

The food was generally OK however my 'toast' with my pate was just literally a bit of bread that had been shown the chargrill for about a minute and no part was crisp. The rest of the food was great the service however was slooooow, drinks took ages to arrive, the rest of the food arrived in a reasonable time but clearing took a while and took us about 15 mins to pay the bill after it had arrived.

The two hostesses at the front were less than friendly and accommodating. I had made a dinner reservation in open table over 2 months ago and even after showing one the reservation they contributed to look for the name or reservation. One rolled her eyes when my husband said, you’ve seen the reservation, can’t you just eat us since the c restaurant is half full and they ignored us.
