The bar offers 3 lofted areas for guests to relax and soak in the cityscape including unrivaled views of Tower Bridge.Uncomplicated and seamless, the bar’s first-class service ensures the ultimate escape from the city’s bustle. La Palombe is a new neighbourhood bistro from restaurateur James Chiavarini (also of Il Portico) & chef patron Jake Leach (previously head chef at the three Michelin starred The Ledbury).A large wood burning grill takes center stage where the majority of the dishes are cooked over live embers. James & Jake work together every shift to serve dishes with a real sense of terroir and provenance, including our speciality of wild foods foraged ourselves. Expect wild noisette venison, Wiltshire truffles (thanks to our house truffle dog Alba!), rare woodland mushrooms, and much wonderful produce from our small organic farm in Kent.The wine list is sourced entirely from independent producers, and regularly updated with a specialised focus on low intervention, natural and biodynamic wines.We are across the road to the Design Museum & Holland Park, a 10 minute walk from Kensington Olympia and a short distance to the Royal Albert Hall.

Lieu magnifique avec une vue à couper le souffle , un personnel très arrangeant . Nous avons à la base réserver pour 20h et nous avons demander au dernier moment si on pouvait venir pour 18h30 , ils nous ont trouvé une solution en même pas 2 minutes pour ça c’était vraiment top ! Le reste juste un peu pour nous mais c’est tout !

L’accueil était globalement chaleureux, mais une partie du personnel s’est montré très froid. Mention spéciale au serveur qui nous a servi le champagne : il ne nous a ni regardés, ni salués, et n’a échangé aucun mot, ce qui a terni l’expérience. Côté nourriture, c’était très satisfaisant dans l’ensemble, hormis la pâtisserie qui était trop gélatineuse à mon goût. Malgré ces points négatifs, nous avons tout de même passé un bon moment.

De manière générale l’endroit est vraiment très chouette, belle ambiance et déco. La nourriture est délicieuse. Par contre la musique va trop fort. C’est un restaurant pas une boîte de nuit.
