Forcella is bringing old-world Italian food to the North End of Boston.Nino Trotta — who owns Forcella alongside his girlfriend, general manager and co-owner Shannon MacGowan, and his brother, wine director Christian Trotta — say that the cozy, candlelit vibe of the restaurant sets Forcella apart in a sea of massive North End restaurants.“It’s tiny, 30 seats,” he said. “It’s perfect for a date.”The kitchen team has designed a menu that includes dishes from all over Italy, with a slight lean toward Naples, where the Trotta family is from. Primi dishes include meatballs, crispy quail, while pastas range from linguine alle vongole and risotto to gnocchi with braised rabbit. Salmon, ribeye, round out the menu.

Servia is Boston’s premier dining destination for modern Mediterranean cuisine. We are located in Boston's Financial District directly behind Faneuil Hall and Quincy Market, in the heart of Boston. Inspired by the complex flavors of Italy, Spain, Greece and beyond, our menu includes mezze shareables, house made pasta, and fresh seafood, with a rotating menu from the mind of Chef Claudio Cavalleri, an Italy native. Servia’s authentic scratch-kitchen features items made fresh daily, from dressing and pita to grass-fed beef and locally-sourced seafood, and 95% of our ingredients are organic, many coming directly from the Mediterranean. Servia also offers a sophisticated bar for dinner and late-night with handcrafted cocktails, European and local beer, and an extensive wine selection. Servia’s name pays homage to the ship you’ll see in the window of our building, a transatlantic ocean liner owned by Cunard, that transported passengers from Boston to Europe in the late 1800s

A letter from the founder,From the time I can remember, while I was growing up in this Italian neighborhood, the North End of Boston, my grandmother, Crocefissa Barbara Summa, was a great influence in my life.It was at her dinner table that I learned of friendship and love, and by her side I discovered the art of Italian cooking. I learned it all begins with the best ingredients to bring out the simplicity of flavors of Sicilian cuisine as well as the many various regions throughout Italy. It pleases me that you selected to dine at La Summa. I know that your experience will be warm and pleasant, with culinary pleasures. - Barbara Summa Sullivan ( JULY 3, 1940 – SEPTEMBER 16, 2022)

Para Maria embodies the heartwarming experiences of making and breaking bread with family and friends. It is not just a place to eat, but also the sound of laughter and conversation floating above a patio at sunset. It's toasting to the weekend with an ice cold margarita after a long day at work. The sweet drip of a melting paleta. The smell of smoked meats and vegetables on the grill and the lingering spice of the perfect bite that draws you back in for more.

I stopped by for lunch with a friend and had a wonderful time! I had the mushroom ravioli and a glass of the super Tuscan and both were delicious. Our server was super friendly and helpful with all the questions we had about the menu. We even ended up getting dessert and the bread pudding was out of this world.Hope to be back very soon!

This place is very cute and cozy. There are 2 entrances, one leads you into the bar and the other the dining room. The food was outstanding, seasoned and cooked to perfection! I wish the staff could recommend wine that pairs better with its delicious food. The music was a bit strange, fluctuating between techno and songs like Sade, it would have been nice to have a more neutral dinner music. The staff attire of a hoodie sweatshirt on the dining side was a little confusing, but the service was excellent. The bar side was classy, bartender had a black button down shirt. I think with a few tweaks to ambience with music and attire this place is an absolute gem! No dessert was also interesting, but I like the sentiment of supporting the local business, however, it would be super cool to offer one signature stand out dessert that you can't get elsewhere. Thank you for a nice dinner:)

I recently visited this restaurant and had an amazing experience. The oysters I ordered were incredibly fresh and delicious, truly a treat that made me feel like I was by the coast. My favorite dish was definitely the Zuppa di Mare, a perfectly seasoned seafood broth packed with flavor. The service was also outstanding; my waiter, César, was very attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was perfect throughout the meal. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great food and top-notch service. I'll definitely be back!

I had a wonderful dinner at Limani. It was the last night of a solo getaway and was the best time of the entire trip Joseph was my server and made the perfect drink recommendations based on my likes. I had the calamari for a starter and salmon entree for dinner. It was all well prepared and the highlight was the orange vanilla cake for dessert. I have never tasted anything like it. I will definitely come back on my next trip to Boston. Thank you to Peter and the team for an exceptional evening.
