- KKyleVIPWashington, D.C. Area •8 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoAnother terrific experience at TFK! Samantha was my server today and did an absolutely stellar job. Not only was she extremely attentive despite her entire section being full, but she was also spot-on with refills and other requests. I could not have asked for better service! I know I can always count on excellent, high-quality food and service whenever dining at TFK. As a foodie, this is crucial for both myself and any guests I may bring along with me. Thank you TFK team!More infoTrue Food Kitchen - FairfaxPrice: Moderate• American• Fairfax•4.6
- DDarrenColumbus •2 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoLongtime patron writing first review here. Lyon Hall consistently turns out a great menu and is my number one choice in the Arlington/DC area to take friends and clients for dining and drinks. Cocktails are always on point (I had a Boulevardier recently that was spot on; the Paper Plane to Paris is also a tasty version of the original) and their wine/beer list is approachable. Surprisingly, there were no sour beers on menu, so perhaps they have removed them for now (?). My date wanted a sour beer but ended up with the cider, which was tasty and perfectly dry, just what she wanted. This visit I ordered the 3-cheese board and pretzel appetizers and both were tasty: pretzel was large enough to share for sure and arrives with three spreads; the cheese board was well-presented and not fussy: sour cherries, candied nuts, delish toast points...a great value and solid starter. For entrees, the duck breast and roasted chicken were ordered, both cooked perfectly and were the perfect portion size for a hungry diner (although not overly large; if you are famished, perhaps an appetizer or filling up on their incredible bread would be advisable). In recent visits, I've ordered the wild boar ragu; the risotto; the pork schnitzel...all very Fall-y, warm and well spiced. Ambience is modern-professional but not cold and at times can be a bit noisy (especially in the bar area). Staff is friendly: Dana came by our table to ensure that everything was up to par and wished my date a happy birthday. Our server was friendly, provided good suggestions and immediately checked when unsure of an item (the sour beer) and its availability. I'd highly recommend Lyon Hall for dining, drinks in a classy environment or their catering. In my 15 years in Arlington, they've never missed.More infoLyon HallPrice: Moderate• French• Arlington•4.7

Loved the Brussel sprouts appetizer, mushroom orzo and the steak for entrees, and the chocolate mousse and sorbet for dessert was amazing! Great place for a nice dinner or date night!More infoGrand Cru Wine Bar & BistroPrice: Moderate• French / American• Arlington•4.5
