- AAnnaWashington, D.C. Area •12 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoA wonderful Christmas dinner here. Food was plentiful and well prepared. Starter and dessert served by waiter. The main course and sides were buffet. Choice of turkey, salmon, lamb, and/or ham. Dozen side dishes. Something for all tastes. Loved the warm rolls. Plenty of street parking on Christmas but not regular work days.. Our second Christmas here. Plan to return next Christmas. Also I have eaten here on other occasions and food is uniformly good.More infoTeddy & The Bully BarPrice: Expensive• American• Dupont Circle•4.6

- SshannonWashington, D.C. Area •9 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoIt was a beautiful amber ambiance as we entered Mallard. Beautifully done decor, warm reception, terrific service. And what a great menu - not lengthy but just right and every dish we ordered was great. Everything was delicious and beautifully presented. What a neighborhood gem - we will return and enthusiastically recommend it.More infoMallardPrice: Expensive• Regional American (Contemporary Southern)• Logan Circle•4.7

I’ve been to DH for Howard U HoCo parties but have never been for brunch. I’ll definitely be back!!! I may consider this place for my annual bday brunch.More infoDirty Habit | The Glass HousePrice: Moderate• Bar / Lounge / Bottle Service• Penn Quarter•4.3
- DDavidWashington, D.C. Area •9 reviews4.0Dined on Dec 11, 2024Opaline is a great choice if you want a lively after-work spot to meet. Tile floor and otherwise hard surfaces make the noise level pretty high. Bit of an own goal on my part for making a reservation to meet my sister and her husband for dinner here, as the restaurant wasn't really suited to a quiet evening of conversation. (It says "Bar" right there in the name, so I guess Reading is Fundamental.) We actually considered going somewhere else but glad we stayed because the food and service were both quite good. A fresh take on Caesar salad, a delicious just-right pappardelle perfect for a cold evening and a lovely dark chocolate cake for dessert.More infoOpaline Bar and BrasseriePrice: Moderate• French• Downtown•4.3
