This community owned business has new tenants who have been lucky to win a fair few awards in their time. The Plough is the ultimate country pub and offers an incredible atmosphere and dining experience. Housed in a stunningly thatched public house, customers can choose to eat in the beautiful eatery, in the cosy bar by the fire or in the beautiful sun trapped garden. With a passion for supporting farmers, the kitchen sources food from the very best local farms, knowing where each item comes from, from farm to plate. What a wonderful Sunday lunch. Pork belly and Beef Wellington were equally divine. Our daughter's rated the hash browns as the " best ever" and rated the children's menu options highly .The Christmas pudding was delicious according to my husband and the trifle I had contained the best custard I ever tasted. Overall beautifully presented food, attentive service and a laid back, welcoming atmosphere. We will definitely recommend to our friends and return soon. Thank you for the birthday card too, which was a lovely touch.

I have been a diner at The White Hart for almost 20 years - since Mark and Kay arrived. In itself I think that speaks for the consistent quality, ambience and standard of service I have enjoyed over the years. I recommend The White Hart to anyone who is looking for a fantastic dining experience where service and cooking are first class and a warm welcome is assured. The White Hart is my first choice for a celebration or for an experience to impress a fellow guest.

It was my first visit to the Green Oak we have wanted to go for a while and it did not disappoint. Such a lovely place we were greeted warmly and had a lovely table. The car park was busy it looked like there was a lot of people but inside it was spacious with plenty of room. The service was first class so friendly and helpful. The food was delicious beautifully cooked we had the fish and chips. It was my birthday and I was given complimentary sweet treat which was a lovely touch. I would highly recommend a visit and we will definitely return.
