Standing high above the city on the 10th floor of the City Club Apartments, at 309 Vine Street; resurrected from the history that has stood here before our time, Shires' Rooftop is inspired by the first amusement resort in this part of the country, Shires' Garden. Though the original Shires' Gardens burned to the ground, "in a most picturesque fire," the legacy that was left behind is everlasting and an integral part of the Queen City's history.     Terence our server was patient and on top if everything. We came for happy hour. Great selection and prices. Dry rubbed wings really good. Reuben excellent. Highly recommend checking out the happy hour. Thursday half price bourbon. Great entertainment too during the holidays.

    I booked your restaurant for Christmas Eve. We had never been and I was really excited for a downtown view and good food. The service was slow. And the food, was good but not great. I think this seems like a good place for drinks and appetizers. We had the mussels, which were good. The chorizo is a bit much. We had the shrimp and scallops. The scallops were cooked perfectly. But, again with the chorizo which was overpowering. We also had the pork chops, very good but a large portion. My son had the salmon and it was good, probably the favorite meal out of the three. This is a lovely atmosphere and staff is friendly.

    Me and my mom came here for Christmas Eve lunch. The person who called the day before was so sweet and helpful. Our server was beyond exceptional, friendly, and so helpful. The food was amazing! Thanks for making Christmas 2024 so special. Buon Natale!
